- One of the founders of The Surgery Group, Doctor Hodnette was born in New Orleans,La. and raised in Pensacola. His father was a renowned Gynecologist in Pensacola for many years. He has two brothers and one sister. He is married to Frances Z. Hodnette(Frankie) and they have four sons: William, Christopher, Jonathan and Brooks III
Dr. Hodnette is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and belongs to the Piedmont Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

His outside interests include sports(golf, tennis and hockey),hunting, flying, computers and boating.
